Physical description

Argillite dish with a wide rim detailed with diamond incisions that used to hold inlay. In the centre of the dish, carved in relief, is a human male figure wearing a headdress, neck ring and an apron with deer hooves. The figure is facing upwards, has his right hand over his chest and the left up to his mouth. The human is in the centre of a large salmon carved in profile. Surrounding the salmon is a large hummingbird(?) with its head in between the two fins. Both the salmon and hummingbird are detailed with circular pieces of abalone inlay.
