Thompson, John G. (1787 - 1868)

Judge John G. Thompson (son of James Thompson) was appointed provincial judge in the District of Gaspé court in 1827. In 1859, Thompson was named to the superior court of Gaspé. He traveled by dog sled into northern Quebec and Labrador.
