Narrative
Possibly a replica. The authenticity of this jar has been questioned and further research is recommended (2003) by Dr. Xinchao Song and Prof. Jigen Tang, et. al.
Physical description
Large painted jar with two ears at the middle and two ears on the side of the rim. The top half of the jar is painted black with dark red-brown bands. There are five zigzag lines that remain unpainted. There are two wavy black lines below the solid painted area.
