Wall Calendar

Physical description

A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has a bottom part consisting of six tear away sewn and stapled (three staples) pages with each page containing two months side-by-side. Calendar in the year 1991 in English in black with Sundays in red. The main part of the calendar has the image of the deity Laxmi standing on a pink lotus. From the upper right clockwise, her four hands are holding a container with a plant ?, a downward facing open palm, strewn coins ?, and a pink lotus. She is wearing a jewelled gold headdress, necklaces, and red clothing with gold trim. At either side, there is a pair of elephants with the back ones pouring water out of pots, the front left one holding a garland, and the front right one holding a pink lotus. In between the image and the months, there are 'PARLE' and 'GLUCO' emblems and logos with an opened 'PARLE-G' biscuit package. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided grey fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
