The main part of the calendar has the image of the deity Laxmi sitting in a pink lotus with a decorated elephant at either side and surrounded by eight circles of other smaller female deities, all of whom are sitting in pink lotuses except for one who is sitting on a yellow lotus. Both of Laxmi's back hands are holding a pink lotus while her front right palm is facing forward and her front left hand is down strewing a handful of small oblong yellow things. She is wearing a jewelled gold headdress, red clothing with gold trim, necklaces, a garland, and bracelets. In brown, in between the image and the months, there reads 'INDIAN RAYON & INDUSTRIES LIMITED'. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided red fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
