Wall Calendar

A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has a bottom part consisting of four tear away stapled (three staples) pages with each page containing three months side-by-side. Calendar is in the year 1990 in English in black with Sundays in blue. The main part of the calendar has the image of a woman with her chin resting on her hands wearing a bright red shirt and veil decorated elaborately with gold and silver embroidered floral designs and fringes. Each wrist has a bracelet of alternating bands of red rings and rings studded with pearls, trimmed at each end with gold bands. Strands of pearls ending with gold dangles that have pearls on their tips are down the part of her scalp and at either side of her head. Her right hand has a pearl ring and she is wearing a four-stranded pearl necklace. Leafy green tree and blue sky in the background. In the lower right corner, there is a small, vertically rectangular, yellow image that has a green grass in front of a red sun within and red captions that read 'JAI KISAAN'. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided blue-grey fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
