History of use
Used mainly for hunting sea mammals. A harpoon consists of a point with a line attached and a shaft. When thrown, the shaft disengages while the point is embedded in the animal. The line is also attached to the shaft to prevent the shaft from being lost.

Physical description
Metal tip is inserted in slit of antler section and riveted. Antler is unilaterally barbed, has a line guard by the bottom barb, and end is cut on a diagonal. One antler side has a cancellous texture while the other is smooth.
