Physical description

Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing right, with diadem, cuirass, and paludamentum; to left, it says '[DN]IVSTINI'; to right, 'ANVSPPAVC'. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left and right, stars; above, a cross; beneath, 'Γ'; in exergue, 'ANTIX'.
