Physical description
Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: Justinian I, enthroned, with diadem; to left, he holds a sceptre; to right, he holds a globus cruciger; to left, inscription says ‘[D]NIVSTINI’; to right, ‘ANV’. Reverse: large ‘M’; to left, a star; to right, a crescent facing outwards; above, a cross; beneath, 'Γ'; in exergue, '+THEϤP'.
