Physical description

Byzantine coin of Anastasius I, 491-518. Obverse: bust of Anastasius I, facing right, with diadem, cuirass, and paludamentum; to the left, inscription says 'AN'; to the right, inscription is illegible. Reverse: large 'K'; to left, a cross; to right, 'E'.
