Brooch

Listed as item number 14 in the catalogue "Bill Reid: a Retrospective Exhibition" (1974; Vancouver Art Gallery).

Gold cut out brooch, engraved with an eagle in profile. It is facing to the left with its right wing hanging down in front of its body; tip of beak is downturned, mouth is open. Leg is bent and touching the wing while its talon is touching the tail feathers. Artist inscription on back: HAIDA ART / Reid. Reverse has silver pin.
