Byzantine coin of Justinian I, 527-565. Obverse: bust of Justinian I, facing right, with diadem; to left, inscription is illegible; to right, 'NVSPPAVCS'. Reverse: large ‘M’; to right, star; above, cross; in exergue, 'ΘYΠΟΛS'.
