History of use
May have been made to give away at a potlatch to announce the pregnancy of a chief's daughter, i.e., a new heir. Another potlatch would be given when the child was born.
Iconographic meaning
Figure represents pregnant daughter of a chief.
Physical description
Totem pole model. Standing figure has hands on belly and a thunderbird on head with outstretched wings. Colours used are green, orange and black.
