The Wixáritari are known to the larger world as the Huichol, however that is not the name they use to refer to themselves.

Physical description

Two part arrow. First part is bamboo with a notch at one end, blue painted curvilinear line and dot design is bordered at top with blue and red bands and yellow and blue bands at base, with three feathers bound at top and bottom, over painted design. Second part is wood, fitted and bound with fibre to bamboo, narrows to blunt point.
