History of use

Inscribed tablet from ancient Mesopotamia. Dated to the Neo-Babylonian period (612-535 B.C.E.), the 2nd day of the 2nd month in the 41st year of King Nebuchadnezzar II. This date apparently can be translated as April 10, 564 B.C.

Narrative

This tablet appears in an article, in Vol. 8 1990 Annual Review of the Royal Inscriptions of Mesopotamia Project- “Cuneiform Texts at the University of British Columbia” (by C.A. Peters & D.R. Frayne; Toronto, p. 58-61).

Physical description

Rounded rectangular reddish clay tablet with stylus cuneiform impressions. (Parts b and c show imprints from two sides of the tablet.)
