History of use
This spoon was used for eating soapberries. Mashed and whipped soapberries were usually eaten only at important occasions since they were difficult to obtain and prepare.

Physical description
Light brown wood spatula spoon with a long, shallow, concave bowl and a round handle for just over half the length. Handle is slightly curved, tapering slightly to a flat end. Elongated oval spatula portion widens to a rounded end and is rounded and raised at the handle end. Exterior is convex and is following the curve of the handle. Spatula surface is slightly concave and has remnants of a red and black painted design. Remnants of red form lines, black and red u-shapes, and a black eye shape. Handle shows longitudinal ridges.
