Physical description
Woven, conical hat with a flat top and wide brim. Brim: mixed twined weave--plain twined weave with a skip stitch (also known as diagonal twined weaving) which produces a slug-trail or zigzag pattern. Six-strand weaving at end of design; three rows; then, ending eight-twine. Crown: sides of crown are woven in three-strand twined weaving with top of crown in plain twined weaving interspersed with three-strand twined weaving. Northwest Coast design painted around the brim in red, green and black.
