gyaaGang (Model Totem Pole)

Carved argillite, miniature totem pole with flat back. The pole is rectangular in shape with a slight taper at the top and is seated on a square base. The figures from top to bottom: bear with a salmon in its mouth; raven with a salmon in its mouth and a circular piece of ivory; bear with its tongue sticking out sitting on a frog with its tongue sticking out. There is an old red and white adhesive tag on the bottom of the base that reads: ‘John Cross?’.
