Made while Mungo Martin was at UBC. (Xwak̓wana is the name for a full-sized canoe.)
Physical description
Small wooden canoe with two figures (part a). The canoe is black, yellow and green. The figures are seated with raised arms. A string is tied around the wrist of the front figure, leading to a barbed harpoon inserted into a whale (part b). The whale is black with red and green designs. Two small woven hats (part c-d) for the figures.
