The metal beads are hex-shpaed.

Blue-black velvet tunic with beaded bib, cuffs, yoke and bottom border - all bordered by red ribbon. Beaded designs are floral. Bib has five blue and red ribbon rosettes. Shoulder designs have rosette on each shoulder. Buttoned opening concealed by bib.
