Owl Figure
Physical description
Ceramic figure of a small owl. Body is rounded, with no distinction between torso and head. Wings spread out and down to either side, tips painted with long feathers. In back the wings meet a wide protruding tail painted with similar long feathers. The bird is painted overall with overlapping feathers indicated by brown lines over a white body. Ears are conical in shape, painted a dark orange, and sit prominently on top of the head. Round eyes bulge slightly and are surrounded by dark lashes. The curving beak is painted orange and clasps a small, light orange snake. The base is flat.
