The susoyoke is an under-slip worn next to the skin, underneath the nagajuban and the kimono.
Narrative
Kimono set acquired by donor in 1970, while she was involved with missionaries in the village of Ueda; she wore the kimono for special cermemonies while residing in Japan.

Under-slip, for woman's kimono. Rectangular piece of white satin-like material with long ties.
