Narrative
Collection (3495/1-9) was mostly amassed by Kathi McKay, who was a teacher on Baffin Island in the 1970s. She later lived in Yellowknife.
Physical description
Ulu type knife. Metal blade is crescent-shaped with a beveled bottom edge. Top edge curves downward from centre on both sides, before flaring out again at corners. Blade is attached to a metal shank, with two rivets, that is inserted into bottom centre of wooden handle. Handle is rectangular in shape, with a rounded top edge.
