Percy F. Broughton is thought to have collected this artifact while he served as a missionary with the Church Missionary Society, in Lake Harbour on Baffin Island, from 1911-1912.

Small carving of a bird. Figure stands upright on two small feet. Wings are tucked back and the tail is rounded. Neck is long and head is small, with a blunt beak and no defined features.
