Bead necklaces made by women elders over the age of fifty to be worn by women and children at mourning. Black, red, and white, most common colours.

Physical description

Small, cylindrical, lusterless black with white and red beads in alternating sequence. The necklace is strung on black cotton thread which is tied in two places.
