History of use
These images are pasted up on both vertical double doors typical of Kwangtung houses, facing each other. They are pasted there at New Year and remain during the year. They are also used on temples and ancestral halls. They are believed to guard the building.

Physical description
Rectangular paper with two armed military class door gods, printed in black outline, in red, green and yellow. Faces are orange, background is also orange. White paper left uncoloured in some areas. Figures are 23.5 cm. high.
