Four Serpents

Series 46/50. From Box Set I, a portfolio of nine original limited edition serigraphs by Coast Salish artists. Commissioned by the Salish Weave Collection between 2004 and 2008.

Silkscreen print on white paper. Central round artwork mimics a spindle whorl and shows the red-grey heads in profile of four serpents following each other around the deep red outer portion of the image. They are separated from each other by a small black circle, four in total. The centre of the image is a large black circle, unembellished.
