Purchased by the donor circa early 1980s; probably from "Kil Sli native arts and crafts" store in Vancouver.

Physical description

Small wooden dish in shape of frog. Body is long, with back hollowed out to create a shallow bowl, face wide at front with prominent brow and abalone eyes. Frog’s legs are stretched out to front with feet beneath face, and bent under the bowl at back. Circles of abalone are inlayed around the back of the dish.
