Basket

Round, brown basket with a flat bottom and flared sides. Base is made from a circular birch bark panel with a white and green leaf design of stitched porcupine quills in the centre. Two bands of coiled sweet grass with a single band of zigzagging open work between them comprise the sides; coiled sweet grass sides are all stitched with black thread. Inscribed on the bottom are the word "Williams" and the number 10 in a circle.
