Wall Calendar

Physical description

A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has six double-sided pages, and a cover page, with each page containing two months, one on each side on the lower portion and a colour picture image of people involved in ceremonies and festivals on the upper portion. Calendar is in the year 1994 in English in grey with Sundays in pink. In black, above, there reads 'State Bank of India'. Images include the following; 'Bhogali Bihu - Assam', 'Desert Festival - Rajasthan', 'Carnival - Goa', 'Ramzan Id/Id-Ui-Fitr', 'Baisakhi - Punjab', 'Vat Paumima - Maharashtra', 'Ratha Yatra - Orissa', Onam- Kerala', 'Ganapati Festival - Maharashtra', 'Durga Puja - West Bengal', 'Diwali - National Festival', and 'Garba Festival - Gujarat'. The cover page has three paragraphs titled 'Fetivals of India' with 1994 at the top and a purple-pink photograph of men racing camels below. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided blue-grey fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
