Snuff Box

Snuff box. The engraving on the left hand side of the bottom reads "Die dose dies draagt in zyn sak heeft nooyt geen ander almanak." translated: "The one who carries this box in his pocket, needs never another almanac."

Snuff box with an elongated oval shape and a hinged lid. Inscribed with the Reformed Gregorian Calendar, which is represented by a table of numbers and months on both the lid and bottom of the base, and there are two figures depicted on either end on the lid as well as another figure on the bottom of the base.
