kaayd hllngaay skaayxan (Basket)

Weaving attributed to Isabella Edenshaw, painting attributed to Charles Edenshaw. Examined in 1997 by Bill McLennan.

Basket made of woven spruce root with a reddish brown and black eagle design painted on the outside and a band of dark brown dyed spruce root above and below the painted design. The sides of the basket flare outwards slightly towards the rim.
