Narrative

Physical description

Cloth consists of five strips of fabric sewn together in an overhand stitch. The pieces have decorations incorporated into the small, tight weave: Top panel is a medium brown, undecorated. Second strip is narrow, red and brown-pink, with an interlinking H pattern. Centre strip is wider than the others, with a double line of yellow blocks sitting on a red background. Next panel is a smaller yellow interlinking H pattern on red. The final panel is yellow with two lines of square holes above a fine, thick fringe.
