Bag

A tag was attached to the bag with "Arts & Crafts N.W.T. Native Women's Association" on the front, with some information about the Mackenzie Region on the back. Inside is written: "Nellie Wedzin Fort Rae NWT GB-001".

Openweave tote-like bag made from thin strips of light tan hide. Sides and upper edge are made from thick, solid pieces of darker brown hide. Rows of pink and red yarn pompoms are attached to the openweave on both sides. A band of quills with a white and black geometric pattern runs horizontally around the top of the bad. Braided hide shoulder strap. Tie closures along the top of the bag.
