Specific techniques
Basket constructed using double strand twining and decorated with false embroidery or three-strand embroidery. Molly Lee notes that "it is accomplished by carrying a third strand of differently coloured material along the surface of a basket during the twining process (2002:52)."
Physical description
Twined grass basket with lid. Decorated with ambiguous figures, perhaps flowers, in grid pattern along the sides and lid. Divided warp twined weave (also called hemstitching) with wool yarn overlay. Colours: pale blue, green, orange, red, brown.
