Wall Calendar

A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has twelve pages, and a cover page, with each page containing one month on the lower portion and a colour image of a painting on the upper portion. Calendar is in the year 1993 in English in black with Saturdays and Sundays in red and some other dates in blue. In blue, below, there reads 'DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATION AND PUBLICITY GOVERNMENT OF GOA'. Painting images include the following: 'JOY OF LIFE' by Nirupa Naik, 'UNTITLED' by D. V. Navelkar, 'AFTERMATH' by K. S. Viswambhara, 'GOA THEN AND NOW' by Mahendra Chodankar, 'LANDSCAPE' by Subodh Kerkar, 'THE ASSASSINATION' by H. R. Kambli, 'GOAN LANDSCAPE' by D. Harihar, 'LANDSCAPE' by H. R. Kambli, 'NATURE' by S. P. Chendvankar, 'MARINE LIFE' by Justino Lobo, 'FESTIVAL' by Nirupa Naik, and 'MUSIC' by D. Harihar. The cover page has a black and white reproductions of the paintings used in the calendar and reads 'GOA 1993' in yellow with 'NOT FOR SALE' in black. There is a metal support folded over the top edge and a flat braided blue-grey fibre loop attached at the top back centre.
