Bought in Cuzco from Victor Olivera. According to Olivera, this poncho is from Ccatcca, a town southeast of Cuzco.

Physical description

Square, brown sheep wool poncho with ikat patterning in pink, green, red and light brown. The textile is made of two smaller, rectangular pieces sewn together in the middle. Stitching on border covers the cut edges which have also been hemmed to prevent fraying. There’s a slit neck opening in the centre.
