Bag

A tag was attached to the bag with "Arts & Crafts N.W.T. Native Women's Association" on the front, with some information about the Mackenzie Region on the back. Inside is written: "Marguerite Lafferty Ft. Rae N.W.T. GB 009"

Long oval-shaped bag with light-brown loosely woven strands of skin in a criss-cross formation attached to a brown coloured skin bottom and a brown coloured skin band with black coloured cloth edging. Alternating red and white stitched bands of plastic are attached to the brown skin band in an arched pattern. Horizontally place on body of woven bag are four evenly spaced light-pink and dark-pink tassel adornments and below are pink and peach coloured tassel adornments. Two short yellow-brown straps are found on both sides of the bag and one large yellow-brown strap is attached to the rim of the one of the sides.
