Wall Calendar

Physical description

A long, vertically rectangular calendar that has a bottom part consisting of four tear away stapled (three staples) pages with each page containing two months side-by-side. Calendar with script in blue and red. The main part of the calendar has the image of a deity, Shankar, sitting cross-legged on an animal skin with a snake wrapped around the neck and another one around the hair. The figure's left hand is resting on the respective knee while the right arm is horizontally raised with the hand tilted a bit downward and forward holding a beaded necklace. On the left side, there is a tridend and a drum and on the right side, there is a kettle. Mountains and clouds are in the background. The three staples each have torn paper remnants, possibly indicating the removal of tear away calendar pages. There is a metal support folded over the top edge.
