Physical description

Jug composed of grey and brown clay, mottled in places from over-firing, gritty and full of white limestone particles. The jug has a low ring base, a globular body, a very high narrow neck, a large funnel-shaped rim, and a strap handle that extends from the shoulder to two ridges around the neck. The body tilts to one side in direction of handle. Decoration consists of two vertical lines in relief on shoulder.
