Physical description
Round silver brooch carved with the design of Koong (the moon) and Ethlinga (the man). Depicted is a crescent shaped silver moon with a central oxidized area. In the middle is a human-like figure with ovoid shaped eyes and a hawk-like beak, holding fireweed(?) in his hands. Detailed with Northwest Coast stylized forms. Silver pin and clasp on the back along with the artist inscription: HAIDA ART / Reid
