Walrus Hunt
Physical description
Print depicting a man hunting a walrus. The image is surrounded by an oblong outline which could be a piece of ice. The hunter upraises his left arm and holds a harpoon in it. In his other hand he holds rope which is attached to his kayak. The kayak partially sits on the ice along the bottom edge of the image. The paddle rests across the kayak. The man faces a large walrus with tusks. Artist's stamp of small bird in the lower right hand corner. Written in pencil along the bottom edge of the image are the title of the work, artist’s name, year made and series number 24/50. There is also an embossed stamp in the lower right corner.
