One of a set originally painted in a spiral drawing book while Mungo Martin was in a Vancouver hospital in 1951.

Physical description

Two masked dancers in wolf costumes painted in black, red, green, and yellow on a white background. Painted on a page of a spiral drawing book. The dancers are in profile and facing to the right side. Both are wearing black capes; however, the dancer on the left side has red dashed trimming while the dancer on the right side has green dashed trimming. Both are wearing a red and black wolf head headdress that have black eyes, even rows of teeth with two pairs of front fangs, and a black fringe; however, the dancer on the left side has a green area surrounding the eye while the dancer on the right side has a yellow area surrounding the eye. Pen on the top left corner reads words for 'the women' and for 'the head pieces'. The painting is horizontally rectangular.
