Narrative

Unbleached cotton shirts are worn in the Cuzco area as well as the north of Peru, in the Huaras area. Worn under a vest. Typical of the area in that it has wide cuffs and a wide neckband. Wide cuffs are important on a woman's blouse because they are usually trimmed with lace.

Physical description

Cotton shirt with a collar and a low v-shaped neck opening. The fabric is pleated around the cuffs. The shirt is natural colour with fine purple horizontal lines across the chest. The front is slightly longer then the back.
