wayang golek (Rod Puppet)

A three-dimensional wood figure of a female human-like figure. The face is painted white with small black eyes, a red mouth, and black hair. Wearing an elaborate black, red, and gold headdress. The body is painted gold. The chest is covered with black fabric. Wearing a pale blue, and pink-beige skirt. The arms are riveted at the joints with white fabric, and have a wood marionnette sticks. There is a spear-shaped wood handle (part c), which inserts through the body (part b) to attach the head (part a).
