Pipe

Physical description

Carved wooden pipe (part a) with a brown coloured, bone-like mouth piece (part b). Depicted is a head of a beaver with coiled nostrils, large circular eyes, thick brow and two large protruding front teeth. The top of the head is the bowl of the pipe. Cylindrical shaped body attaches to the mouth piece. The end of the mouth piece is cylindrical then it tapers and flattens. Inside of bowl is charred and has tobacco residue.
