Coin, round, with a four-sided hole at the centre, a rim around the outer edge and a centre hole. The obverse has four characters, and the reverse has two characters. Dazhong tongbao (top-bottom-right-left) in Chinese characters on obverse; shi top (value 10), she bottom (mintmark) in Chinese characters on reverse. Rim flaws; extra metal in centre hole; varnish pitted.
