Bharata sees Rama in the forest to say that he will rule in his name with his sandals to represent him. Shoorpanakha fails to win Rama's love, and she enlists her brothers aid for revenge upon Rama only to have their demon army slain, whereupon she goes to the ten-headed King Ravana of Lanka for help. Sita is abducted by Ravana through the lure of a golden deer. Hanuman helps Rama and his brother, Laxman, to fight for Sita in the great battle for eighteen days. Rama cuts off Ravana's heads multiple times but in the end has to aim for his naval where his life blood dwells. Rama and Sita return to their kingdom on the Pushpak aircraft.
