Collected by Robert A. Coulter, who was stationed at Kuujjuarpik, 1962-63, as Commanding Officer of the RCAF base (then known as Great Whale River).
Physical description
Stone figure standing with his right foot forward, and right arm held up and poised to throw a harpoon. The harpoon is carved from bone(?), and fits into the right hand. The harpoon is attached to a skin cord being held by the left hand. The figure wears a parka with the hood up. Artist number inscised on bottom of left foot.
