This print is named Hanjo (班女), from the series Nōgaku Hyakuban (能楽百番; One hundred Nō performances), published in 1922-25. The print is signed 耕漁 (Kōgyo).

Physical description

Print showing an actor in a white Noh mask holding bambbo in his right hand. Figure is wearing a garment that has a silver-coloured branch pattern on a white background covered by another garment that has a pattern with yellow and green butterflies with pink and red flowers on a pink-orange background. The background is yellow-green. Along the upper left corner are black characters. In the lower left corner, there is a brown fan-shaped seal with a vertically rectangular, red seal next to it with a black character above. The print is vertically rectangular.
